When can I go ?

  • 9 – 12 month placements all year round

What you receive:

  • Own private furnished bedroom in our host family’s home
  • All meals 7 days a week
  • Earn weekly pay $200 -$280 plus for your sightseeing and going out, no living expenses
  • 2 days free time per week (usually weekends)
  • Support 24-7 from your dedicated local support expert in Canada throughout your placement, and from JCR Australia.

Am I eligible?

  • Females aged 18 – 35
  • Speak English as a first language
  • Have 60+ hours childcare experience – eg babysitting, tutoring or coaching
  • Clean criminal record and good health
  • Have a good sense of responsibility and a positive attitude

Placement fee – $1145

Payable in 2 instalments – 1st instalment when you apply for your visa, and 2nd instalment after we have arranged your signed placement agreement with your chosen host family

Recent family placement in Canada

Experienced Nanny required for 12 months placement from September

CAD/AUD $200-260 per week
The family live in Maple Ridge, BC which is about 45 min outside of Vancouver. They also have a family cabin in the mountains as they enjoy the outdoors. They need a capable nanny to care for their 2 children aged 7 and 9 years as both parents work full time.
A typical day would getting the children ready for school, preparing breakfast and ensuring they get to school on time. After school drop off, the nanny would be required to do some dinner preparation and light housekeeping related to the children such as their laundry, tidying their rooms etc.
Hours would be 7 am to 10.00 and then 2- 6 pm.
The nanny would be provided with her own bedroom, bathroom and kitchenette.
